You own a Tavern.
It's great, owning a tavern, y'know? You get to to wake up really early, clean everything everyday, listen to that story about the dragon for the hundredth time, meet weird customers that like to start fights, and occasionally, occasionally, enjoy a good meal with some relatively nice people.
What?
In From Dungeon to Table, you get to play through the silly fantasy of owning a tavern and feeding its weird occupants some even weirder food. This game is meant to be funny and it's meant to inspire you creatively. If you are having fun, then you are playing this game correctly.
The pdf has all the instructions for how to play, but you'll also need:
- A deck of standard playing cards (including jokers)
- Your favorite six-sided dice (d6)
- A journal and a pen

This looks really fun, I'll need to give it a try when I get some downtime. A lot of solo journaling games seem heavy on the journaling and light on the game, so I'm really excited to try one that doesn't hand wave the mechanical side.

Played through an in-game week of this game and was very inspired by the mechanics and premise. I did pull one patron of each suit on my very first day, making it impossible to please all of them, which was pretty funny.

I just finished my first entry and it was a blast, I can’t wait to continue this. I don’t normally journal so this is a great alternative for someone who loves board games/card games and TTRPGs!
